Can't Paste at all in primary without freezing browser

Have tried everything in the #cantcopy guide

I've been using Multiplicity (Seamless) for a while now with no issues. Very recently--as in a few days ago--I noticed that I can no longer paste from my Secondary into the Primary. I can paste from primary to secondary, however.

- Can't paste into MSWord or Notepad

- If I'm trying to do it in a browser, it locks up my browser

What happens when I try, is that either nothing is pasted, or it locks up my browser. It happens on both Edge and Chrome.  If, when everything is frozen, I unload Multiplicity, everything returns to normal. If I don't, my browser locks up permanently and I have to restore everything.

I've tried everything in the https://forums.stardock.com/486104/multiplicity-support-faq#cantcopy thread.

This almost makes this product unusable and I really like/need the product. Hope someone can help!

Have you upgraded your primary to say Windows 11 or changed firewall software?

If so make sure the network is set to private/work not public and if new firewall then rules on the primary need to be set to allow Multiplicity to connect to it to get the clipboard data.

I am running Windows 11 on the primary, but it's on ethernet. The secondary (Windows 10) is on my wifi network but I have confirmed its set to "Private." Both have the following firewall rules settings. Checked column is "Private."

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

This might be the path of least resistance and a time saver (done on each PC):
