KVM can't move to secondary system when certain apps active

Good Afternoon,

I have an issue in which Multiplicity 3.57 will not allow my mouse/keyboard to move to a secondary system while certain applications are active on the primary machine.  In this particular scenario, I want my CCTV system up on my primary machine, while I do work on the secondary machine (in seamless mode).  If I have Outlook active on the primary machine, everything works fine.  In fact, MOST applications, as the active application, work fine, but certain applications seem to confuse Multiplicity.  When one of these applications (like the CCTV app) are active, the mouse pointer hits a wall at the limit of the primary machine's visual limit.  If I minimize the offending app, then the mouse pointer will move seamlessly to the secondary machine for work to be done.  What can I do to make Multiplicity work seamlessly regardless of what application is active on the primary machine?

Thanks!

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues.

What apps don't work for you ?

What version of Windows ?

Hey AzDude,

The most problematic app is "LorexCloud", which is the app to monitor CCTV cameras.  I know there have been others, but this is the one I want up 75% of the time while I'm working.

I am running Windows 10 Pro 20H2.

Thanks

Is the app in question full screen or windowed?  If the former, full screen, try windowing it and see if it still happens.

Hey Sean,

I have tried it both maximized and windowed.  I get the same result.

Thanks

I gather it's just this one app, yes?

We see this sometimes with games, that they grab the cursor and wont let it go.  In such cases, clicking off the app when it is windowed, say the desktop giving it focus, is the workaround.

Sean,

You nailed it!  This isn't the only app, but this is the one that I want used the vast majority of the time, so I can keep an eye on the facilities as I work.  Thanks for the help!!
