Which items are you using that on and which menu style are you using?

Windows 10 style. 'Open file location' is not working on several items, but they are working well in the new Start Menu in Windows 11.

Are you able to tell us which items it works on and what it does not work on?

I have a long list of items in he start menu. When open the menu with start buttom, thhe I recieve the lsit. All item open the program after a click on it. But when I choose to more after a right click, and I choose the option 'Open ffile location', I receive a popup with the message: "Cannot find the file". I cannot send you a print of the popup, I think.

I suppose the only thing I can try is to uninstall Start11 and install it again. And then have some hope that the the program is working properly.

The implication in the first post is that the issue only happens with some items.  If this is the case then knowing what it happens with and what it does not could give us a clue as to the issue so we can resolve the problem for you.

If it happens with ALL application shortcuts then thats important to know also.

It happens only with a few items. I recieve a popup with this erro message: "Cannot find the file (7C5A40EF-A0FB-4BFC-874A-C0F2E0B9FA8E)\AVS4YOU". This is an exemple for this item.

Thanks for the information.

We have a theory on what is wrong involving the shortcut path lookup failing and have made changes for a future update.
