Object Dock bug or feature?

Can anyone else do this with object dock?

setup a new shortcut on object but do not put anything in the shortcut except a name for the shortcut so no link to a file or folder. save it all and then click the link and hold mouse button down for a cpl of seconds and my computer comes up with the abilty to browse your computer or if you just click it my computer folder opens.

and if this is a feature does anyone know how to get it to point to a specific folder ie. my documents.

as i can't see any mention of it in the readme file.

I did what you said and that didn't happen! Try this:

shell:Administrative Tools
shell:AppData
shell:Common Administrative Tools
shell:Common AppData
shell:Common Desktop
shell:Common Documents
shell:Common Favorites
shell:Common Menu
shell:Common Programs
shell:Common Startup
shell:Common Templates
shell:CommonProgramFiles
shell:ConnectionsFolder
shell:ControlPanelFolder
shell:Cookies
shell:Desktop
shell:DesktopFolder
shell:DriveFolder <=------ My Computer
shell:Favorites
shell:Fonts
shell:History
shell:InternetFolder <=--- Internet Explorer
shell:Local AppData
shell:Menu <=------------- Doesn't Work on Win2k/XP
shell:My Pictures
shell:NetHood
shell:NetworkFolder
shell:Personal <=--------- My Documents
shell:PrintHood
shell:PrintersFolder
shell:Profile
shell:ProgramFiles
shell:Programs <=--------- Current User Programs from Start Menu
shell:Recent Note: for now copy C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\*.*
shell:SendTo into shell:RecycleBinFolder C:\Documents and Settings\%CURRENTUSER%\Start Menu\Programs
shell:Startup to get all your programs to show up (support for dynamic folders coming soon to KK Menu)
shell:System
shell:SystemX86
shell:Templates
shell:Windows

Type one of these in the link box and give it a name, click ok and there you go!

Some of them work, some not!

I use for my PC this one: shell:DriveFolder
and for My documents this one: shell:Personal

This was in the news groups and was given by: Crni and was reposted here in the kkmenu comments section by by Citizen Jeremy Miller!

Not quite sure if I'm understanding correctly...I just drag and drop any folder like, My Docs, My Music, Drives, Network Drives etc. right onto the dock and it will point to and open those directly...The link is automatically created

Is that what you are saying? Hope that helps

I'm telling you! Just place some of the shell access in the link box and when you get it ready, hold down the mouse and there you go!
