Fence won't update

from Stardock Forums

I keep getting a Beta Fences can be updated from 3.98 to 3.98.56.  But every time I update and reboot it stays at 3.98 and says I have an update.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Is the popup notice for update from ObjectDock Manager? And what version numbers appear on your Fences about page?

It is the same that is shown in your pic.  It appears to be Object Desktop.  Currently I have 2 Fences in OD, first one says Fences and the 2nd one says Fences 4 Beta.  Which is in a state of 'Reboot Required', even though I already rebooted.
