Start11 Auto Hide Task Bar

I tried to use Windows 11 "auto hide task bar" feature with Start11

This seemed to really mess up explorer.exe causing a lot of explorer crashing/slowness. Additionally, the task bar seemed to bug out, and not want to pop in and out as it should have.

And, upon a reboot, the "auto hide task bar" was reset to its default setting

I dont think this feature is properly supported yet by Start11

Start11 has no ability to disable auto hide taskbar itself so the fact it was reset on a reboot is curious.

Do you have multiple monitors as it is a known issue in Win11 (without Start11) that the taskbar in auto hide mode on a secondary monitor is unreliable at best to pop in?

Also is your taskbar set to be at the top of the screen or bottom?

Yes, I use 2 monitors, and my taskbar is set to the bottom

I thought it was weird too that it reset but I figured it was from explorer continually crashing after setting this feature and needing a reboot

Is this feature supported?

I have the same issue.  Setting auto-hide crashes explorer and doesn't set.  Anyone have any suggestions?  Burn in is a consideration here.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, if you on Windows Insider preview/Beta version , do know that, Stardock does not support it.

Thanks.
