1.5, Windows 11 and tab title bar text almost unreadable

Upgraded to Windows 11.  I have Groupy 1.5.  With an Explorer window I have group tabs set to "always if possible".  I use a dark system theme and have all "How should the tabs look" settings set to their defaults. (although I have tried to change almost every color option but always "Reset to automatic titlebar colors"

Why is the font in the titlebar set to black when I first invoke an explorer window?  Until I open a second tab, make the tab inactive or open a second tab the font color is what every other window on the system uses.   Is there a way to remedy this?  It is almost impossible to find the groupy controls without random clicking.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, I can't reproduce your issue on my Windows 11. And from what I know groupy tabs is not rounded corner yet. I wonder why your groupy tab is rounded corner? Below is my screenshot of groupy. BTW, do you have Curtains or anything similar installed?

Not sure I follow what you are asking.  If you mean the tab in the upper left corner window with Groupy enabled - that is how Groupy works when the tab is inactive.  Only the upper left tab behaves this way.   When it is active it doesn't have rounded corners

Windows 11 - all windows have rounded corners now.

I have only Groupy and Fences - no other utils/apps that modify a window in any way.

I only have the black text issue on tabs on one of my machines the other doesn't behave this way.

I mean this. I think groupy has not have that option yet

That is Windows 11.   Open another tab and make it active - you will now have the rounded corner on the inactive tab in the upper left too.

Back to my question, is there anything I can check, set, change to resolve the black fonts?  I'd assume it was a Windows setting but I can't find any black fonts and if I disable Groupy the font is white on the titlebar as I'd expect.

That what I saw but my question is that on your first screenshot you have rounded tab while you only have one tabs and if you refer to mine. I have square tab on that single groupy tab explorer. So, I figure its something wrong going on in your system.

Please try purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here: [link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account. Reboot after the purged. Reinstall, and Reboot again after the installation. Retest it. Report back here.

I'm having trouble explaining.

The upper left of the window is rounded for "inactive" tabs.   My first screenshot is of an inactive tab - the screen capture software took focus so the single open tab is inactive.   Yours is not.  Leave only one tab open and take focus away from the file explorer window - the first tab will be rounded in the upper left.  Or look at my screen captures above.   Open two tabs, make the second one active (click on it) - the first tab will be rounded in the upper left.  It has nothing to do with interactions with any other program.  This is how all windows behave by default now on Windows 11.  It isn't specific to Groupy or any other program that uses windows controls.

So I "purged"/uninstalled and reinstalled and it behaves the same way.  The only 3rd party apps running are Steam, MS Powertoys (only Powertoys Run running), a VPN, Auto hotkeys, Windows Defender and Intel driver assistant.  Nothing else.   SFC /scannow reports no problems.  No disk errors, no unexplained behavior with other applications, full updated system...  I've run Groupy for years on different systems.  Perhaps this isn't a common issue, perhaps it is a configuration for my system.  I'm asking for things to try or suggestions.

Carefully look again at my posted picture. That was inactive tabs. When I took that screenshot the main groupy Windows was active. Hence the explorer with that tabs is inactive.
