Setting up

I have installed Multiplicity (version 3.57 Build 00103.km) in two computers and have successfully tested the secondary computer for connectivity. (Both computers have Windows 10 OS.) However, I am unable to access and control the secondary computer, in other words, the secondary device is not showing up in the primary one. Only the Multiplicity window is showing up in each device. I have searched the Internet for solutions, including watching some videos – no go.

The online user guide shows how to configure the settings. Some of the recommended options cannot be checked (or are blocked out).  Additionally, there is no KM option available.

Please advise how I can accomplish “seamless” connectivity between the computers, i.e., work on the secondary computer from the primary computer. Let me know if you have any questions and/or require anything else. Thank you.

Thank you for your response. I have tried various guides before contacting support. Perhaps I did not make my question clear. Both monitors are showing up on the primary device. That is the extent of it. In other words, all I see is the application settings showing the monitor icons (identifying the primary and secondary computers). I would like to access the secondary computer and "seamlessly" work on it from the primary device. Please direct me to the guide page(s) and/or let me know if you need any additional information.

For a 'Seamless connection, it never will.

You just have a fundamental misunderstanding of what a Seamless connection is and how it works (not uncommon).  This (one of the links posted earlier) should help.

Thank you for your response. I have looked at the link before I contacted support and after the link was forwarded to me. As I have originally indicated (see screenshot) there is no KM/KVM option available. Instead of the KVM icon displayed on the link, mine shows "Seamless" which does nothing except display the primary and secondary monitors/computers. Please let me know if you have any questions.

It would not show that unless that license was purchased.  The Object Destktop license that you have (and suspect you are using) only has KM available.  You can upgrade to KVM - and have the remote capability you seem to desire - at a discount here:

Pardon my ignorance, but of what use is Multiplicity without the KVM capability? Thank you.

There is information listed here [Link] that list down the difference between KM vs KVM.

Thank you.
