Start 11 wont activate

Hi,

I upgraded to Windows 11 around 2 weeks ago.

During the upgrade, I also upgraded my Start 10 to Start 11, and purchased the new start 11 license. This installed and activated my Start 11.

I've been troubleshooting some issues with Pinned items / jump lists with Windows 11 and I removed Start 11 to test.

Now trying to reinstall Start 11, I'm being told "Email address is not valid for the product key", even though I can see the key against my order history on my startdock profile.

What is going on, and why can I not reactivate my license....

Thanks,

Ash

Did you maybe pay with PayPal with a different email address ?

Thanks of the suggestion AzDude, I always pay with paypal account, and yes it is a different email address. But, all my other products are listed on my account except for Start 11 Upgrade (within the https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products page). I can only see Start11 Upgrade in my orders page (https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/orders).

I have tried activating against my paypal email, and it still doesn't work either.

I've activated a Trial version just to restore functionality for now, but I'd like to get my proper license activated.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. You might want to merge those two email account into one using this guide : https://forums.stardock.com/486311/accounts-and-activation-support-faq#mergeaccounts. Than try it again. If it still fail, you might need too deactivate its old activation using this guide :  https://forums.stardock.com/486311/accounts-and-activation-support-faq#deactivateproduct. Try those and report back.

Thank you,

Thanks for the suggestion of the merge accounts - I have found my issue. I had a typo in my original registered email address. Thankfully, I was able to fix this with an alias address on my domain - YAY!.

I have these followed your merge accounts process and successfully merged my Start11 license to my correct stardock account.

Phew, I'm glad its fixed now, thanks for the help. I cant believe I had a typo in my original order... PEBCAC issue.
