Start11 taskbar feature request – Seconds in taskbar clock

Well, since you're mucking with the taskbar, I wanted to throw out this feature request.  I'm not sure if it would be possible (and I am not expecting it to be a high priority).

In Windows 10, there is a registry setting that will cause seconds to be shown with the time on the taskbar.  See: https://www.howtogeek.com/325096/how-to-make-windows-10s-taskbar-clock-display-seconds/

This no longer works in Windows 11.  (Not only that, they don't show seconds in the flyout when you click on the clock anywhere.  I can't find anywhere where it is easy to see the "seconds" part of the time.)

If you're poking around and this looks like it would be easy to implement, I'd love to see the option to restore seconds on the taskbar clock.

Thanks for consideration!

Yes please! The Windows 11 taskbar has so many steps back which are really hard to understand. The missing seconds in the clock are one these. Thanks to Start11 the taskbar in Windows 11 has become usable again for me, thanks. Showing seconds again would be just great!

For now until Microsoft adds official support for it or Stardock add it to Start11 you can look up ElevenClock by martinet101 on github its a open source application that brings the clock back on 2nd monitor

A bit of thread necromancy just to add to this: make sure you're setting it to only show on your second monitor, as it doesn't play nice with Start11 on your primary monitor. You also have to go into the settings to tell it to show seconds and other details, because it's not set that way by default. Which is a bit weird, since most people are downloading ElevenClock specifically to get that functionality back, but whatever.

If you have Windows 11 dev\beta channel we have added a seconds option for the taskbar clock in Start11 1.22 beta.

Probably just me being stupid, but I've got 1.22 final installed and I can't find this option in Start11 Settings > Taskbar. Should I be looking somewhere else for it?

Now if you could just separate the calendar view from the Action/Notifications view, like Windows 10 did, I would be an even happier bunny. :) If I want to see the Calendar I don't need to see Notifications with it, and vice versa. Stupid Microsoft.

You would need to be using the dev/beta channel version of Windows 11.  It is not shown as an option on Windows 11 release version.

Not sure how I managed to miss that in the release notes, and above. I assume this is something that Microsoft have finally restored in their latest dev builds of Windows 11 which Start11 is now able to take advantage of? I'll wait for the next stable Windows release, many thanks.
