Start11 question about taskbar

Ive been putting off upgrading to windows 11 (and will continue to do so) until I can move the taskbar including tray to my secondary display instead of my primary.  Whether this is via microsoft putting the option back in, or via something 3rd party like this, it doesnt matter to me.

I received an email about a start11 update that now includes moving the taskbar, but it only mentioned moving it to the top of the screen.

Just curious if its possible to move it to another display as well ala the way you could in windows 10?

Windows 11 already allows the taskbar to be on multiple monitors.  The primary monitor must always have a taskbar and the secondary monitors can either all have a taskbar each or none just like in Windows 10.  The secondary taskbar is less capable than the primary ones still without even a clock for some reason.

If you want the tray on another monitor then your best bet is to make that monitor your primary.

yea that wont work.  i use my primary monitor for full screen applications and games which obscure the taskbar and tray.  the only way for me to continue working on my secondary monitor is having access to said things.

If i made the secondary my primary, it would no longer be my secondary :P

then everything would be opening by default on a monitor off to my side.

TLDR, sounds like im staying on windows 10 until microsoft undoes their bludgeoning :P

(displayfusion allows it but im not a fan of the implementation and baggage it comes with, as does startisback but im partial to stardock ;p)

ty for the reply!
