Change font color of start menu on mouseover

Hi,

I can't change some of the font colors in the Start Menu. For example, the right column menu text on mouseover will always be WHITE in light mode no matter which font colors I change. I tried to change all the Start10-parameters, like Start10.Menubackground or .Tilebackground, but no dice.

Is this broken or am I looking in the wrong place?

  1. What is the theme you're using?
  2. What is the accent color in the screenshot?

1) It is a theme I created myself. Also, the color settings in Start10 are set to standard.

2) blueish turqoise

 

Btw, this only happens with the "modern" layout of Start10. Win7-Style layout will correctly apply a dark color.
