Keyboard Layout Synchronization Issue

Problems with Seamless Mode Keyboard Layouts Across Multiple Computers

Hello,

I'm currently using Windows 10 on two computers and have set up two language-keyboard layout combinations on both:

English with a French (AZERTY) layout

Russian with a Russian (JCUKEN) layout

When I operate in Seamless mode, I encounter a frustrating issue: if the first computer is set to English (ENG), the second computer, even when set to Russian (RU), defaults to the QWERTY layout, scrambling the symbols. This forces me to manually synchronize the keyboard layouts on both computers, which is both inconvenient and time-consuming.

Example: If one computer is set to a Russian keyboard layout and the other to a French AZERTY layout, typing on the second computer outputs in QWERTY instead of AZERTY.

Is there a way to resolve this, or could a feature be implemented that allows automatic layout syncing between the two computers when switching languages using Alt+Shift?

P.S.: I tried using Synergy for testing and noticed that it successfully synchronizes layouts across two computers. If I can't find a solution, continuing to use this software will be too troublesome.

Thank you for your assistance.

Is it possible to fix this? Or is it possible to make a feature so when i change layout on computer 1 (alt+shift) it sets automatically to the same layout on computer 2 and vice versa? Thanks

It's a fine suggestion, and one we will consider, but what you are asking for is not currently part of multiplicity.

I have included it in our internal feature request repository.

Thanks for the feedback.

I'm writing to inquire about the status of this feature. I was wondering if there have been any developments since then.

Attention to this matter would be appreciated.

Not at this time, no. It is logged as a feature request, however.
