Windows freezes when running Deskscapes 11

from Stardock Forums

Need some help.  I downloaded the beta Deskscapes over a week ago, but every time I use it, when closing any open windows, it freezes and shows a blurred copy of any given window.  I need to restart and close Deskscapes.  I checked for any updates and it shows I am up to date. Running Windows 10.  Never had problem with previous version of Deskscapes.

Would appreciate some hep.

Reboot and ReInstall the latest version from your account https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products/

Reboot , Test and report back please.

I am now using Windows 11 and still having the same problem with all windows blurring and freezing.  Need to restart windows and disable Deskscapes 11.

Would appreciate any help with this.  Not sure Deskscape 11 beta and the present version of Windows 11 is the problem.

Please provide more information.

  1. Please post few screenshots on your issue, specially the blurring part.
  2. Are you running static image or animated background?
  3. What is the GPU on your system with this issue?
