Install location option cannot be selected

Hi,

Just some feedback.

Just thought I'd trial Groupy and during the install was presented with the "Where would like Groupy to be installed?" option.

The default "C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\Groupy" cannot be changed. It appears to be greyed out. I am using a custom theme, so on the odd chance that was somehow interfering with changing the default path; I reverted back to the default windows theme. Same problem.

Tried to include screenshots as recommended, but the upload option seems to have resulted in broken link icons.

I keep my C: drive free of anything other that OS related programs; so I won't be installing this trial since the custom install path option appears to be broken.

Running Win 10 Pro 64bit version 21H1

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. From what I remember, it is important to install Groupy in its default directory on Windows 10, so that it can work properly. But, for more explaination, I have forward your question to Stardock Support Team for their assistance. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We appreciate your feedback and patience.

Do note, Stardock is on their Summer Vacation, so Support might be slow.

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

The path cannot be changed as Program Files has the permissions needed to ensure Groupy runs as expected.
