Blurred system tray icons.

Hello everyone,

After downloading Object desktop, and selecting to show system tray icons, they appeared blurred as if the system streched them instead of choosing the higher resolution versions, any idea on how to fix this ?

I've attached the link to the image of the issue below.

Thanks for help upfront.

System tray icons unfortunately rarely come in a size thats big enough to be resized to that size without becoming blurry.  Often they start as 16x16 pixels.

I know how to change the icons manually but i'm wondering is there a way to have the icon still be dynamic aka i upload multiple images based on the status of the icon so it functions properly? AKA when the wifi signal isn't full or when the volume changes ?

Do they still look like that with a solid taskbar behind them?

Don't know how you make them be in front of a taskbar, even when set as alwas on top the tasbar has priority,

It's been many years since I used Object Dock, but if I remember right I never came up with a way to do that.  I did use alternate icons in the systray, and I'm pretty sure it was only a single state.  Of course, that doesn't mean it absolutely can't be done.

You might right click on the icon and check properties and see if there is anything there like "State1", "State2", etc., but I don't think so.

This is probably the wrong thing to say in a Stardock forum, but Nexus Dock will let you change the systray icons to high resolution ones.  I fell like object dock got kind of abandoned.

That is sadly correct, kind of... Object Dock has never been made fully compatible for Windows 10 (and as far as I know, never will) although many has it still working in W10.
