1.49.1 Update

A. TOPOLOGY

Windows 10, build 19043.1081 (patchday June 08, 2021)

 

B. Problem / Question

I installed version 1.49.1 (offline download  from profile menu) and this is correctly recognized in >Control Panel >Programs/Features. It appears to work properly.

However, when opening "Groupy" from Start menu (or with the three dots in a window tab), it still claims version 1.48 and "update available".

Can anybody find a reason or solution?

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please try purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here: https://forums.stardock.com/488142/groupy-support-faq#reinstalling. Just make sure to re-download the latest version from your account. Reboot after the purged. Reinstall, and Reboot again after the installation. Retest it. Report back here.

same issue and behavior with version 1.5. Disappeared afer two reboots.

Can be closed.
