Guide for Creation of Custom Start10 Icons

I've finally had some time to try my hand at making custom icons for Start 10 (to be precise, making a custom start icon) but whenever I do it the icons move vertically when hovering or pressing the start button which isn't the intended effect. I had tried basing my own image off the icons in C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\Start10\StartButtons to use the same dimensions and relative positions of the three different icons.

I searched for a guide or steps to make the .png but haven't had much luck so was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. Thank you for your time.

We actually have a tool to help build a suitable image.

Your issue with changing positions sounds like the sub frames alignment is off slightly.

The existing link seems to be broken to the tool, so I will get someone to upload it later and post the link here when it is done.

Here is the tool : https://cdn.stardock.us/support/uploads/Start8BtnEditor.zip

Thank you very much for the quick replies, you are right Neil I was able to get it working by doing slight adjustments to each frame in PS before exporting.

If I do get the itch to make more having a tool handy to streamline the process sounds great, thanks for sorting out the details of the link.
