Doubleklick on folder opens Explorer

I've reinstalled Windows 10 and now I have the problem that when I  doubleklick on a folder in a fence or portal the explorer opens.

But I want to open the folder in the fence and not in Explorer.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. If you are clicking Portal Fences, you can enable "allow navigation" to open directory inside the Fences itself. Make sure Fences is not locked. Click on the 3 bar lines. And select "Allow navigation"

Thanks

Thanks for your reply.

Even when "Allow navigation" is active I cannot navigate inside the fence, everweytime the Explorer opens.

It worked fine on my old Windows 10 installation so I have no idea what is going on here.

Fences locked? Where can I find that?

Need to know more on your system.

  1. Windows version, please use Winver.exe to get full Windows version numbers.
  2. Fences version.
  3. and please check your Folder Options : Browse folders is set to "Open each folder in the same window" is selected

Fences locked

Thank you,

Many thanks for your support.

I created a new local Windows user and the problem is gone.

Now everything works fine, I think it was the setting to open every folder into a new windows.

Many Thanks.
