Issue Reinstalling ObjectDock

License key already in use under another email.

I purchased several utilities from StarDock back in 2017.  One of these was ObjectDock.  I still have the email receipt from the purchase back in 2017.  When I recently tried to reinstall ObjectDock on my system after a crash, I received an error that my license key was already in use under another email.  The software would not install.

I requested a record of my purchased software and license keys and what I received the other day does not list ObjectDock but does list the other software purchased at the same time.  I tried to contact StarDock support and only received a return email stating support is only available via this forum.

Was the purchased of ObjectDock really just a limited subscription that has expired?

Sorry to hear you are having issues. First check in your account and see if ObjectDock listed there. https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products. If not listed there. You might purchased ObjectDock under ObjectDesktop package which is subscription package.

But I believe you still can manage your old activation by using this guide : https://forums.stardock.com/486311/accounts-and-activation-support-faq#deactivateproduct . Do let us know if you still need our assistance.

You received a partial refund for that order which I believe was for ObjectDock. If you have further questions you'll need to start a support ticket about the order.

No, the refund was for ModernMix which I had already purchased for a Sony laptop with Windows 8.1.  When I purchased Start8, it also said I purchased both Start8/Modernmix combination and charged me for it again.

The link you posted takes me to a page on how to "deactivate" software.  This is not what I'm trying to do.

This does not allow attachments.  The is a cut and past of my email receipt.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, you should not have posted your product keys on public forum for everyone to use them. Please raise a new support ticket using below link and includes all your details there and support will help you from there.

You can select under Account Management or Purchases and then select Ask a question. And from there you can mention what your problem there and upload your supporting files there ie payment receipt etc. 

Press "Account Management"-> "Ask a Question" should bring you to something like below:

 

Also, do note that, you do not need to login there to submit a support ticket.
