DeskScapes 11 installation folder fixed / greyed out

Why can't I change the installation folder anymore, is there a parameter to set on the setup?
Neither installation via Object Desktop nor manual install lets me change the default of C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\DeskScapes anymore.

P.S.: Download speed from the site is abysmally slow at the moment (around 300-500kb/s)

Is this something that will be fixed/reverted in upcoming versions? Otherwise it will have to stay uninstalled on my system.

The reason is for security.  DeskScapes uses a service to autostart and services run with very high levels of permissions on a computer.

For security reasons this means a service should be installed in a 'protected' location such as program files so files cannot be replaced by a user without suitable permissions.  It is also convention that applications should install off program files.

Can I ask why this is a problem for you as the DeskScapes install is about 70MB which is tiny relatively speaking.

Well, for security you could just assign specific ACLs to the installation folder. But anyway, that means I have to move all Object Desktop programs to that location (I like to have my stuff sorted, just a little OCD) meaning it's just a small nuisance (for me personally). Although it is rather common to install 3rd party programs somewhere else than C drive in a lot of companies from what I know. So just wondering if a restriction like that is really necessary.

Some of the apps like groupy will actually not work correctly unless in program files as the OS will not give them sufficient permissions if installed elsewhere regardless of ACLs on the folder.
