Grouping certain items???

I guess certain combinations don't work

I had what appeared to be NO PROBLEMS WHATSOEVER when I was on my trial.  Unfortunately these problems started happening after i purchased the key.

I have 2 windows tabbed right now (CHROME, GHUB).  But now I also wanna tab MediaMonkey. But no matter what I do, either the tabbed windows refuse to let MM in, or MM is refusing to accept the invite.  I can't seem to figure out why I was able to tab everything before, but can't do it now.  It just doesn't wanna play nice and I'm getting frustrated.

I though about saving this combination in a group, but I don't always have this particular combination up by default.  Some days its just GHUB and MM, some days its GHUB, MM, and file browser, some days its just GHUB and Chrome.....  or any combination that includes any of the 3 programs, or even none of them.. who knows???   I just know that with Chrome and GHUB tabbed, adding MM is the equivalent to adding water and oil... IT AINT HAPPENING!!!!!

(In case anyone is wondering, I have a Logitech G600 MMO gaming mouse, which is where GHUB comes in)

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. From my short reading. It might be because current MM V5 version do not have skinless mode. MM V4 have that option. Which might causing MM V5 not compatible with Groupy.

Below is MM v4 grouped with Explorer. No issue with that version.

Awww crap I forgot to mention that I am using MM V4 as well.  It's the only version I signed up for.  Yes, My MM can be grouped with Explorer as well.   Like I said, it's certain group combinations that seem to not allow MM to be grouped up since I paid for the groupy license.  I had no issues at all with the trial, but since buying the license I have had the issue.

EDIT:  I also just discovered that I can group MM with Explorer by moving my Explorer over MM, but it won't work when i place MM over Explorer.

Well I can group MM over Explorer without issue. And I also I have no issue grouping with Chrome and G Hub.

Please post a video and let us see what you're seeing on your side, while trying to group those application.

Thank you,

Hello,

Thanks for the video. I watched your video and I notice you're on MM Skins. Can you try again but this time disable the skin and see if that work. Refer my screenshot below.

Thank you,

Not only did that NOT help, but now my MM is bright and way too intense.   I'm amazed that everything was fine until i entered my product key though.

As I mentioned before, that it might be because that with MM skinning it might not work with Groupy. Not really sure why it work when you on trial since trial and paid version is the same functionally.

But to be sure, I have forward your problem/question to Stardock Support Team for their assistance. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We appreciate your feedback and patience.

A test here isn't showing a problem.

To make things easier you could enable the setting to use the entire window for group target and also be aware that windows below a certain size are not considered for grouping (less than 800 pixels wide)

I thought the same thing, but even that's not working.  The only way I was able to tab MM in there was to click the 3 dots and manually tab it in there that way. Of course I also learned that if I minimize MM for ANY REASON AT ALL it automatically untabs itself forcing me to manually tab it again using the method i just explained.  Why?  Don't know. But I know this wasn't happening last week when I was on the trial.  The only thing I can think of that I haven't tried was uninstalling/reinstalling Groupy.  But how would that help considering that I would need to re-enter the product key all over again, and that was when I started having the issue in the first place?

By minimize do you mean minimize to the taskbar like a normal window, or change to mini / micro player mode?

Entering your serial would have made not difference to how Groupy works.  That only impacts the activation logic.

I'll just go ahead and accept that there is no real fix for this issue.  It's actually depressing at this point how everything was 100% perfect when I was on the trial. But the second i input the key things start going wrong.  I've been forced to change setting I didn't even want changed (they didn't need changing when I was on the trial), I've been forced to use a manual method that doesn't even work right... In the end I'm being forced to just forget about it and accept this as unfixable.   Thanks anyway.
