I still get what appears to be a window frame showing when I switch desktops.

It appears to stop after unloading WindowBlinds.

Version 21H1 19043.1055

WB 10.89 Beta

Groupy 1.49.1

It did it with the OD window. By allowing it to fall behind a Firefox browser window by clicking the browser and then switching desktops. The issue stopped when I unloaded WindowBlinds from the the tray icon. It also Did it with the program i've mentioned here in other threads (GCC4TI) I haven't seen it with any other programs.

Yes I meant ObjectDesktop Manager. I can confirm unloading WindowBlinds or changing skins stops it. It also did it with WindowBlinds configure window as well.

EDIT: I'm going through the 1500+ skins I have to see if other skins cause it as well

EDIT2: I can confirm it does it for several other skins but not all of them. Also  on some skins it does it intermittently and not all the time. With some skins the bars stay until I close the program causing them in other skins they show during the desktop switch animation and shortly vanishes.

Could you list down some of those skins that having issue so that I can verify it.

No it does the same thing for me. It only appears briefly and goes away.

I think this has nothing to do with Groupy, yes? I disabled groupy and it still happen in my system.

One of the issues in this thread

"Fixes bars showing on other virtual desktops when you switch to them briefly"

So I assumed it was groupy.

This beta is running 100% at most times. If something does pop up it still running that 95%. I was experiencing issues with the three program groupy running very jerky when I tried to move the whole group.

Well, now I think it was a memory issue on my computer because, for the most part, I have run without any issues for the last several days. I've even used groups of five programs at times.

If anybody can help me out with what I can do to keep track of memory, so I have more detail as to what might be happening. Although for the last several days, as I mentioned, I've had no memory issues.

One happy camper!

Windows 10 21H1 19043.1052 and this version of Groupy. I think latest Windows update causes this issue.

Taskbar glitches if there is no “News and Interests” button. You need to logout and login or reboot to see this.

Taskbar works fine if I add this button or disable Groupy.

I am not sure but I think taskbar works fine if Windows interface scale is 100%. Mine is 250%.

Strange Behavior on 1.49.1 -- Scrivener won't insert where two others are grouped, but will, if first grouped with one other. This behavior started with update to 1.49.1.

I normally keep three apps grouped together: File Center, Firefox, and Scrivener. Now, Scrivener won't insert with the other two. I have Outlook open on another monitor, and when I drag and drop Scrivener to Outlook, it groups. I can then drag it from that group back to the FC and FF group, and it inserts. Never had this problem before.

Scrivener Won't Insert in Group

Scrivener version 3.0.1.0 -- last updated 28 Apr 2021, so not a change.

Edition    Windows 10 Home
Version    20H2
Installed on    ‎11/‎11/‎20
OS build    19042.1052
Experience    Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.2020.0

Just established that this behavior isn't limited to Scrivener and the other two -- it also is happening with MS Word 2010 -- will only group two windows at a time, and ignores the right-click option on the 3 dots to group all of the same app, in this case, Word.

Hello,
Please try purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here: https://forums.stardock.com/488142/groupy-support-faq#reinstalling. Just make sure to re-download the latest version from your account. Reboot after the purged. Reinstall, and Reboot again after the installation. Retest it. Report back here.

@basj Thanks, but purging, restarting, reinstalling from new download, and restarting again doesn't change this strange behavior; it's still the same, groups one on top of one, but refuses to group one on top of two already grouped, unless first grouped with another stand alone app/window; then can be pulled off group of two and grouped with another group of two. Saved groups of three will load and group automatically together, but trying to add another to a group of two or three is refused -- starts to show the insert, but refuses to complete it.

I have settings to group instantly.  I tried the delay setting, and that doesn't work.

This all started with 1.49 update.

Definitely need a fix to this bug, or will have to roll back to version before 1.49.

If you are using Windows 10 Pro, and enable the Sandbox feature, fire one up, install the apps in question (including Groupy), does it still happen?

Also, please exclude Word 2010 as we want to avoid test with apps over a decade old.

@SDRohan Have Win 10 Home, not Pro. Not currently trying to group Word 2010 -- fails to group more than 2 apps -- Evernote 10, FileCenter 11.0, TheBrain 10, Obsidian, Firefox, PDF app, etc.  All these have worked fine until the 1.49 update of Groupy.
