Feature Request: Activation Information

I use Fences pretty much EVERYWHERE, and usually is one of the first things I install even before renaming the computer I install on.  For that reason, I'd like to have either have the capability to add an additional one-liner note to the activations I have so I can keep notes on what machine is what, and from there I can also decide if that particular machine warrants having Fences installed.

My issue stems from Windows Installer giving the machine a random name, which makes its hard for me to remember what machine is which from installs that happened months to years ago.  If I activate a machine, it'd be nice that the installer would give me a field that I can provide that note so I can see it in the Activation Window on the web site.

Fences should work the same as this example. I don't use Fences tho.

That is exactly what I see, except PCNAME is my old hostname prior to changing it to something I know and recognize on the network.  I still have WIN-AF4887 or whatever as a couple of my machines.  Even if I could edit what the PCName is on the activation form, I'd be happy.

EDIT: Even if Fences itself, when it calls home for the activation authorization, having this PCName field change to the current hostname would be awesome.  Less work for me at the end of the day.

Ok, I get it.  Well, for now, I think your only option is to deactivate and then reactivate with the new PC name.   Good luck.
