WindowFX- 6.11 Issue Report Thread

With the WindowFX 6.11 release today, we are creating this thread so that users can report any observed issues.  

Obtaining WindowFX 6.11:

The latest installer can be obtained from your account page:

Reporting an issue:

Please include the following for anything found:

  • Exact Windows version \ build (winver.exe)
  • Detailed steps to recreate the issue seen
  • Screenshots and videos are very helpful.  Videos can be uploaded to a cloud drive services (GoogleDrive, DropBox, OneDrive, YouTube) and link included in your post.  Images can be directly added.
  • If there are specific apps that Groupy does not work (well) with, please note what apps and their exact versions.  If any app is not common, a link to a trial version would be appreciated.

The issue exists already for many months, at least for me. I.e. was on already on older Windows builds. On the start / end of animation, the window is lagging, it becomes vertically a bit larger, than its normally. Happens with all apps. See attached video. Can you fix this bug? its very annoying. Windows 10 20H2, 19042.804.

nope, it doesnt. At any animation value the lag with window height is present.

If you do a Windows 10 clean boot:

And then start the WindowFX service with this batch file:

We have resolved this for the 6.12 update.

Your issue only happens with the much older animations which are the ones at the bottom of the list without the preview buttons when selected.  Anything from Basic fade down.

Just tried out the version 6.12 and can confirm that its fixed. Thank you a lot for a quick fix, appreciate it!
