KVM windows on secondary PC

Hello all,

I am using the feature to open KVM windows on a secondary PC.  It worked fine before, however after replacing that PC, I am getting an error that seems like it is related to the PC replacement.  Can this capability be reset so I can use it again?  I'd also be interested in being able to do that with more secondary PC's if its possible.

Secondaries are not licensed so MP should not care what it is.  What would need to happen is that the new Secondary is configured (replacing the old).

That said, we would need to know the error you are getting....

When selecting the option on a secondary "Allow Secondary to control KVM computers (activation needed)"  I get the error below.

Unable to activate Multiplicity, as it's currently active on a different computer.

Click continue to deactivate the other computer and proceed with activation on this computer.

That is because you are asking a Secondary to perform a Primary function (remote connect to another Secondary), and does indeed require a license.

I have a KVM Pro Corporate license.  I get the error when I enter the license, or try the account login to enable this.  I used it before with my license, it is just now not working for some reason.

The corp license is only relevant if it has multiple concurrent activations on it (purchased) - which yours do not.  What you do have, and why it may have worked in the past, is 2 licenses under your account.

For this to work (again), you would have the one Primary activated, then use the other license to activate for the function you are wanting.
