Spacemonger didn't open properly

I purchased object desktop and installed spaceManager. After the installation was complete, the spaceManager software was not found in my control panel, and I could not open it. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but running uninstall.exe showed'Invalid start mode: archive filename', and then I used other methods to force it to uninstall and reinstall, but it still cannot be opened

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more on your system.

  • Windows version, please use Winver.exe for full Windows version numbers.
  • Spacemonger version installed.
  • CPU type, Intel, AMD or ARM(Snapdragon)
  • Did you installed Spacemonger in its default directory?

Thanks

  • I installed it in the default folder:

Then I checked the control panel and it did exist:

  •
  • As you said, it also displays this in the start menu:
  • I tried to open it, but it only shows this, and it disappears immediately:
  • After that, nothing is displayed, and no other panels appear.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

If you create a new Windows 10 Administrator account, does it open under it?

I used the method of creating a new local user, which can indeed be opened, but this method will bring me a lot of unnecessary trouble. Is there any other solution?

Hello,

I believe if it can open in a new admin account, that shows that your main account is corrupted. You need to deal with that. There is lots of guides on how to deal with corrupted admin user account/profile on the net.
