How do you link the weather in sysmetrix themes to actual weather information?

Open the Sysmetrix Configuration.
Click on Weather.
At the top of the "Options" section on the right hand side is a link. It says " Click here to LookUp a METAR code for your location".
Follow the instructions on the website and enter the METAR code into the box available.
Hope this is clear enough

If so many people are having trouble with the weather, I suggest you email the person who created the program. He is kind and answers the emails he recieves. You can reach him from this website. Please post any response here to help others.

ok i want to http://www.nws.noaa.gov/tg/siteloc.shtml and looked up my area and got code 71396 from one that did not work. after my email back from the creator, i want and looked at the site again.look for ones that have a ICAO Location Indicator: seems that is what the program uses mine was CYHZ. and looks like this will work for all countries.

from the make of Sysmetrix
Try entering CYHZ for the METAR code. If you're interested in how to get more codes, take a look at the "Weather Configuration" section of the documentation. It should walk you through the process with examples for both US and International codes. To get the code for Halifax International Airport, I followed those same steps and chose Canada for the country and then just found Halifax on the list.

hope that helps ya all

Yes I tried to understand the METAcode thingy also and the website does not use the same word or acronym for the number you need..I tried several of the codes and none wanted to play nicely..But you should go to the sysmetrix site for help...Win is not really affiliated...But Not off the topic..Why is it improper to ask other ppl here for Help on other apps???? When you have an issue with a stardock product and you post a ? here they always tell you to go to stardock tech support...Is it just because you might get bad info here or why??? Was wondering cuz Ive been trying for the last 2 days to get weather tpo work..But my ObjectDock weather applet was easy as heck you just type in your zip and it works..Sysmetrix should make it that simple...
