( Solved ) Dream screen problem on windows 10

Hello.
I'm on windows 10.
For the past few days, I have had a thin vertical red line running through the middle of my screen vertically. When I uninstalled the software, this line was no longer visible.
After a new download and installation of Deskscape, this line reappears. It's visually disturbing. How can I delete this line?
Thanks.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more information on your system.

  1. Windows 10 version, please use Winver.exe to get to full Windows version numbers.
  2. Deskscape versions.
  3. Is it happening on all animated background?
  4. A video of this happening on your system would help us understand your issue better.

Thanks

Finally Deskscapes works!

My journey:

I used DSpurge

Clean Registry

Delete all files containing dreamscapes from my OI

Uninstall graphics card drivers

Reboot the system

Reinstall dreamscapes

Everything is OK with the generic Windows graphics driver

I handed over the drivers of the radeon rx 570 8gb card (for games).

Reboot.

And it works.

I hope that the next update of windows (inevitable even by modifying with gpedit.msc ) will not create any more problems in several of my software.

Thanks for the quick answers even on a Sunday!

Glad to hear working finally

Why does Dreamscape 11 not remove the Windows watermark from the desktop automatically.  When I reapply the dreamscape then it will be removed.  But once a reboot is done, the watermark returns.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues.

You need to do a photo edit and remove unwanted items such as text

before loading into DS . DS11 does not remove such items by Auto .

It is windows watermark.  but I will live with it for  now until the official Deskscapes 11 version.

BTW AzDude.... I am a fan of your work.  Always welcoming to see your submissions.

The easy way to fix that issue would be just to crop off

the bottom of the photo cause your taskbar is showing too.

Then resize the photo to fill the space needed .

If for personal use you can do that , if you wanted to upload

that animation because of copyright you would need permission to do so.

Any image that is Public domain or CCO give you permission to use so if

you want to load one of those animations just show a link to the public domain

or CCO permission .

The Official or Final version of DS11 still won't remove your items in question

you will still need to edit out un wanted items before creating your animation,

If not being used as an animation but just a still Image background you still need

to do the editing out as mentioned.

Are you able to post what your registry key entries here say after a reboot : HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Stardock\Deskscapes

In particular what the applieddream values say and any values starting WallChanged say.

I am wondering if Deskscapes has turned itself off on reboot for some reason.
