roll-up not working on all fences after restart

Hello,

I just re-installed Windows 10 on a bare drive and installed the latest version of Fences, 3.0.9.11.

Edition Windows 10 Pro

Version 20H2

Installed on ‎2/‎8/‎2021

OS build 19042.804

Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.551.0

I recovered my Fences desktop from a saved backup from the old drive.

When I restart Windows, 3 of my 9 roll-up fences only show the title bar up away from the bottom edge of the screen. When I click on the title bar they roll down to the edge of the screen. That behavior persists until I right click on the respective fence, uncheck the roll-up function, then right click on the fence and re-check the roll-up function. Then they behave normally.

It's a bit strange behavior I've never seen before.

Any suggestions of something I should look at?

Thanks for any advice you can offer.

Hello Basj,

I've finally gotten back to this issue. I don't have a video. I do have 3 screenshots.

2021-03-23 (1).png - Immediately after restarting my PC. On the left screen you can see 3 rollup fences that are suspended.

2021-03-23 (2).png - I hovered over the center left fence entitled "WorkInProcess". You can see the fence rolled down while the fences on either side remain closed.

2021-03-23 (3).png - After restoring my latest snapshot from before restarting my computer. All fences are closed as you would expect.

You can see all other fences appear correctly on reboot. Only the 3 along the bottom left are an issue.

My default method of operation these days after a restart of my PC is to restore my last snapshot from fences.

I haven't found any other resolution to the issue.

Best Regards,

Wayne

Hello,
From your screenshot is that your Fences has shifted. The Fences name "WorklnProgress" bottom has move below the taskbar so it is not snapping to it. You just need to click and drag the titlebar of that Fences and move up until the bottom of the frame just barely touch your taskbar. Release the mouse and see if the Fence roll down. Re-adjust it until it does. Once it work. Save a new Layout snapshot. And do the same on others Fences if that happen.
