Fences scramble under remote

I use fences on several computers.  From time to time I need to remote desktop into one of those computers.  Upon return to the actual desktop of the computer that was remoted into, the icons within each fence are scrambled.

I have locked fences thinking that it would hold the icons in place, but to no avail.

Is there something else that can be done to stop this shuffling?

Note that there are multiple monitors on each of the computers (most have 2, but some have 3).

The best you could attempt is to match the resolution and monitor count on each PC.

If not possible, you can restore a snapshot and it should have it at it was.

HI Al112,

I've been dealing with the same issue as you for a while now and came here hoping for a better solution.

One thing you can try is the Layout Snapshots. After you log in locally, fix your fences. Now right click on the desktop and select 'Configure Fences' From there, go to 'Layout & Snapping' on the left hand side. Scroll on down on the right hand side to 'Layout Snapshots'. Take a manual snapshot and call it 'Local Logon' or something. If you always remote in from the same computer, like I do 90% of the time, repeat the above and make another Layout Snapshot called "Remote Desktop' or something.  Now any time you log in and the fences are wrong, go to this section, click on the correct snapshot and then click 'Restore Snapshot'
