Settings Does Not Open

Greetings,

After upgrading windows 7 Pro to Win 10 Pro 64 bit the Groupy setting does not open.

Whilst clicking on three dots-Settings nothing happens, the Setting Windows does not appear.

I have installed the latest version from the web - same issue.

Thank you in advance for any suggestion.

Oh, splendid and fantastic way of getting purchased pieces of software.

Yes, I have bought several pieces of Groupy. Now I can proceed following your instruction.

Will be back with results.

Many thanks.

Alas it did not work at all.

The installation finished with normally, rebooted and... no Groupy at all.

Starting Groupy from start menu does nothing,

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know.

  1. Information on your CPU, Intel, AMD or ARM (Snapdragon)
  2. Did you installed Groupy in other location than it default location?
  3. Does Groupy appear in your Stardock folder in Windows 10 Start panel. If yes, what happen if you double click on it?

Greetings,

Information on your CPU, Intel, AMD or ARM (Snapdragon)

2.20 gigahertz Intel Core i7-2720QM

Did you installed Groupy in other location than it default location?

No, Default installation

Does Groupy appear in your Stardock folder in Windows 10 Start panel. If yes, what happen if you double click on it?

It does. Double click does nothing. A while when an hourglass appears only.

Groupy has been worked on Windows 7 Pro. After in-place upgrading to Win 10 I have noticed that settings did not open (three dots). Now after having applied your instruction above Groupy does not work at all. As if it becomes nonexistent.

I have been using utility called OxO ShutUp10. Perheps there are some settings that block Groupy from starting.

I have disabled it, restarted the machine with the same sad result.

Hello ,

Would you Please do a Clean Boot: https://forums.stardock.com/488142/groupy-support-faq#cleanboot

This will tell you if you have a 3rd party ass you mentioned causing your issue .

Test by doing this Clean Boot then report back .

Alas nothing has been changed within a new virgin account.

Same issue Groupy does not start from the Start Menu and the settings (three dots) in explorer does not react.

Ooops, no, i did not I missed this final step.

I will repeat the process with the clean boot.

Thank you very much for your precise point.

Hullo,

Nothing changed after the Clean Reboot.

The Setting item in the three-dot menu does not start. Same with Groupy from the Windows Start menu.
