drag & [Move] Files into fences instead of [Copy]

Fence: v3.0.9

 

When I drag and move selected files into ( or out of ) created fences, the related files are copied instead of being moved.

I just want to move the files by drag & drop. No need to copy.

What should I do to fix this issue?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, you should be able to move icons/files between Fences but not from Fences to Portal Fences.

So the software does not allow "drag and move files from desktop to fences"?

Only "drag and copy files from desktop to fences" is permitted?

Any fixes?

Need to understand how Portal Fences work. Its is just a portal to your actual folder. So if you drag an icon from a normal fence, which actually located physically inside your desktop folder onto another normal Fence it will move it because physically it still in your Desktop folder. But if you drag an icon from a normal fence to a portal Fence, it will make a copy inside a portal fence.

Consider introducing this as a new feature into next version please.
