Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. From what I know, some applications will always not grouping properly when open from saved group. For example, for me, Chrome will not open in a group. Anyway, for a better explaination, I have forward your problem/question to Stardock Support Team for their assistance. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We appreciate your feedback and patience.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

I am wondering if it's Chrome, because you (might) already have instances of it open. To be sure it is closed, close it running in your systray or one step further (and for continued testing), you can stop it from still running when the last Chrome window is closed by unchecking :

If with it totally closed it still fails to open the saved group, if you test with any of the four removed, can you find what app - when removed - has it work?

Thanks to both of you for the swift reply!

The weirdest thing just happened: after rebooting today, discord and one of the google voice windows (in app mode) grouped together when launched, leaving slack and the other GV window ungrouped. I changed a setting in slack (starting in tray on launch) and unlocked the group (just to be sure). Now slack, discord and one GV instance are starting grouped together leaving the other GV instance ungrouped...

I tried multiple times making sure no chrome instance was running (as suggested) and the result remains the same. Any ideas?

I believe you are running into what we were trying to avoid, already open Chrome windows\instances.  You are (understandably) looking at the GV windows as unique apps, they are not - they are Chrome Windows. I bet real money that if you used Edge for the 2nd GV Window, it would group.

Hey Sean.

Indeed! If I open the second GV instance with Edge and make sure that Chrome is not already running, all the windows will group. It is a workaround, but one that I can live with. Again, thanks for all your help. You've been amazing!
