Microsoft mail and calendar in Object Dock

Hello all
Just got object desktop (had it back in the windows Vista days)... 
Setting up my object dock and am liking it a lot so far. One issue I am seeing however is some apps, specifically Mail and Calendar, become question marks when added to the dock.. they dont work when selected from the doc but work when selected from start. 

is there any way around this or do some apps just not work?
