Window "Jumping"

Lately I've noticed that applications will occasionally jump across my screen and "attach" themselves to any open Explorer windows I may have open. It usually happens when the programs stalls. Like, the screen will adjust its size and overlay itself on top of an existing window that uses Groupy.

I'm running the latest version of (beta) Groupy and (stable) Windows, if that makes a difference.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more on your issue.

  1. Windows version, please use Winver.exe for full Windows version numbers.
  2. Groupy versions installed.
  3. "The Application" that jump what is the name of it. More details on that application would help.

Thanks

Windows 2004 (Build 19041.572)

Groupy (1.43)

As for the applications: they're multiple things. This morning, it was Sony Vegas. Previously, its been Chrome, its been Adobe Acrobat, and I think Photoshop did it once or twice, too. It looks like its not a specific program, which makes me think its an issue on Groupy's end.

Thanks for the quick answers. How do you setup your Groupy to group? If you have it on "Always groupy windows when moved on top of each other", what is your setting on delay groupy creation. Set to "Instantly group windows" might be the issue. For me, I set it to use "Only group when Ctrl is held down".

BTW. Groupy version 1.44 (Beta) is out : https://forums.stardock.com/502031

Thank you,

I do have Groupy set to "Always group," and the delay action is set to "Only group if held for 2/3rd second."

I'll try setting it so it only groups when using CTL and see if it makes a difference.

Thanks
