Multiplicity & Wifi

can I make it work?

Hi,

I am using multiplicity for a while. Before some time ago it worked perfectly over the Lan and acceptable over wifi (ac signal, good reception). For some reason now it is completely unusable, lag is huge, cursor runs choppy.

Are there some settings I should look into? Seems counter-intuitive that AC speed is not enough for at least somewhat decent work

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

While this is almost always a WiFi issue, if this is Seamless, why the need to use WiFi at all?

With regards to the speed of the wifi, remember that wireless can suffer packet loss and the speed isn't important, it is the reliability of the signal.  Lost packets = delays which wouldn't be such a problem with something that isn't latency sensitive, but mouse movements need to be quickly sent and in the right order, so you can't process later mouse moves until the older one has been resent which will introduce a lag.
