Cursor FX flickering atere Win 10 update last night

flickering cursor in cursor fx

Win 10 updated itself last night, and now my custom cursor flickers nearly all the time.  I love this feature but I had to switch back to the windows cursor it was so bad.

I'll post my specs again since I have the same issue, and have/had the same issue since my Windows10 version 2004 update back in August, and I would like this issue fixed.

My current build:
OS: Win 10 Pro version 2004

OS Build: 19041.508

CursorFX 4.03

Monitor 1: 3840x2160 (scale 250%) (This one has the flickering)

Monitor 2: 1920x1080 (scale 100%) (This one does not flicker)

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

For either of you having the issue, if you disable shadows for the cursor in question, does it cease?

Also, your cursor is now at what I believe its max size and adjusting the size slider makes no difference.

All claims are with a 'custom cursor' yes?

No it is with every cursor in CursorFX custom or stock it does not matter.
If you look at the gif posted by richardgoldstein, you will see that is a stock cursor.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

I was able to reproduce it when at different DPI (when set to 125% at 3840x2160 its fine, 150% it flickers).

Reported internally: ODNT-1124

Thank you for the feedback.
