Remember application window location on multiple monitors across reboot?

I am looking for some software that will remember the position and size of an application window across application starts are reboots. Windows attempts to do this reasonably well on a single monitor but with multiple monitors an application that was on monitor 2 may open on monitor 1.

thanks for any pointers- if there is something on OD that can do this that I've missed please let me know.
