Icon Spacing

was forced to re-install objectdock plus because it would no longer automatically launch at startup after a windows in-place install, and the odp re-reinstall went pretty well after backing up and then re-adding my settings, except for icon spacing.

when i first installed odp months ago, i was able to add perfect spacings between my docked icons, but i don't remember how i did it, whether it was by creating a custom (narrower) separator icon, using a transparent font for the separator, or by fiddling with the config file... whatever i did worked out perfectly and now i would like to do it again with my re-install.

so does anyone happen to know how custom icon spacing can be accomplished? iirc i got the idea on how to do it the first time around from this forum but can't find the post.

when i select add a separator to my docked icons what image does objectdock plus use? is it a transparent png stored in one of the od folders?

found the separartor.png but editing it (making it narrower) doesn't seem to work, it appears that it's stretched to match the width of the other icons on the dock?
