Progressive Lag Build

Is there any way to Eliminate this?

I have been playing GC-III for some time, and have always Experienced a Progressive Lag Build Up as I play.

I have an Alienware System with 32 Gig Ram, 12 Gig Video Ram, 16 Core Processor.  Nvidea Titan X.

It is my own understanding that my system should blow this game out of the water, but no... Does not happen.

As I Play, (I even started a recent game with only ONE AI, and me, but the game added a second AI at some point, to see if it could play with Less Interaction, but, NO) The Lag Builds ever so slowly until it takes Two to Three Minuets for the Pop Up after the TURN Button is Clicked for it to become Interactive...

At this point, it Takes 30 to 45 Seconds after each Mining Base is built to Reset so I can Build the Next One.  It Takes 30 to 45 Seconds for the Ideology Screen for each New Planet to Reset to the Current Planet.  Then it takes another 30 to 45 Seconds for the Planet Tile Screen to Refresh to show the Current Planet Layout.

When I exit any Screen to the Map, It Takes 30 + Seconds for the Map to Refresh so I can Click on the Next Idle Ship, or what ever the next action is.

Is There any way to make this game Run with some Reasonable Flow of Information instead of STOP, STOP, STOP, all the time??

I did previously try Lower Settings, but had Issues Loading The Games.

Thanks.

What version (i.e. do you have Crusade and/or Retribution) and version are you on? Some of the more recent updates have had performance improvements in them.

Properties on my EXE File says Crusade.

(Except for DLC's, I thought these things Updated themselves after a New Version Release..)

This am, I went into Settings, and put all Graphics to Lowest, Took out Vsync, Trails, Debris, and such, Started a New Game, and a couple of Hours into it, I see the Lag Starting to Build Up...

I do not understand why a Modern Machine can not run this game Reasonably.

On your stats you forgot to mention the processor type, and speed, and you forgot to mention what type of graphics card you have why.

On the game's main menu, where you can choose "New Game", "Quick Start", etc, down in the lower right corner it gives you the version number. Mine says Ver 4.01.

I would suggest posting a link to a (on a files sharing website of your choice) a save (no xml mods) and hope one of the devs takes a look at it like they did here. Other's that are trying to help  can also load it up and see if they have the same issue as yourself.

I am Using Mods...  Maps, Races and Such.

I they could be the problem, I can Uncheck them in Workshop, and run a new game after that.

Unless Options Allow Mods will deactivate all of them if the Check is out of that box??

Stuff on the workshop are not classed as xml mods, workshop content "should" be fine. I would try without anything though just to see, and post a save if it still happens :)

I Unsubscribed from everything in the Workshop, and Started a New Game. Will give it some time, then try to send it.

I do not have a Server to post it on, but If I have an Email of a person to send it to, I could do that on Gmail.

I have sent things to Steam that way, but not sure about Stardock...

I just sent a Copy of the recent game to Stardock Support...   (Hope they will look at it there..)

I was doing fine till about half an hour ago, and then it Jumped to Over Two Minuets for Turn Pop Up, (Anomaly Surveyed?), to Be Interactive,

I do not know if some Tweaking was done on the Game, But, My Current Game is Running much better than they ever have.

Building a Star Base used to be a Minuet or some with each Component, now it is Seconds.

Next Turn is Half a Minuet or so, instead of Three Minuets Plus.

Thanks!!
