Offline activation does not work

Horrible customer service.  I can't activate Curtains offline.  Customer service is a joke.  First they blow me off saying that I found a solution to my problem.  This has been going on for over a week.  They finally supplied a reg hack that does nothing and then don't reply to my emails.  Anyone got any ideas?

After a couple of days still no answers on offline activation.  Support doesn't even seem to know how the software is activated.  The pictures they post don't even match the screens that come up.  Activation wants a "response file".  Apparently support doesn't know what a response file is or even that there is such a thing.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. I do not find any of your forum post before this one. And from what I know, Stardock do not do customer support via email unless if have raise a support ticket. If you did, please post your support ticket numbers so we can forward it to Support Team.

Thanks

Hello,

They finally supplied a reg hack that does nothing

What I sent you was the command line activation method - not a 'reg hack'

Hello,

Please see the following article about activating using the command prompt:

https://forums.stardock.com/486311/accounts-and-activation-support-faq#activatecommandprompt

Please let me know if this does not resolve the issue.

and then don't reply to my emails.

You never responded to the ticket thereafter.

Ultimately, this is the problem; you have a setting (Internet Options) that are preventing showing the 'Activate' button:

Yours:

What you should see:

You have 3 options:

-Use the process that I sent you

-Edit your Internet Option settings to stop blocking such things:

-Tab key down to where that button would be and hit enter on your keyboard - you will see dashed lines around it when it is:

As you can see in this Groupy activation example, the button - the one being blocked by your settings - does get highlighted when tabbed to.  Hitting enter will trigger it when it is.

You have 3 options:

(1)-Use the process that I sent you

(2)-Edit your Internet Option settings to stop blocking such things:

Where is the 3rd option?  Because the first two don't work.   I even dropped the internet settings to the lowest security and it changed nothing.

I now have an activation request file.  Your directions and videos do not match what is occurring on my screen.  What do you want me to do with the .req file?
