groupy in tablet mode

business must be bad if support is only available through forums

I cannot get groupy to open new tabs when I'm using tablet mode on Win10. it would be so helpful. I've really only tried with file manager. is tablet mode not supported? can we expect it in an update? it's not like win10 is brand new...😊

Tablet mode in windows is not currently supported as tablet mode enforces its own rules which mean it would be impossible to drag a window over to another window to join them as a single window can only be on screen at once.  This is something thats simply not fixable as it is a fundamental feature of tablet mode.

Whilst there is the add new tab button on some apps, the creation of a new window causes a focus switch which breaks the ability for Groupy to link that action back to the first group in order to join them.  This may be fixable in the future and I will ensure it gets added to the list to investigate further.

Entirety different.

Edge is a single window with tabs built in natively.  Explorer is a multi window application with no native tab support.
