Groupy won't open Microsoft Office apps from Saved Groups.

I can't use the save groups feature because it never opens any of the Office 365 apps. Help?

What I've tried:

  • Purging and re-installing Groupy
  • Re-installing my Office 365 apps (from the Windows Store)
  • Changing the folder that my files stay in

Helpful information:

  • Windows 10 Version 1909 (OS Build 18363.959)
  • Groupy Version 1.32

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please post your saved group here. Groupy 3 dots menu -> Saved Groups -> Manage saved groups -> Right click on your office group -> Edit. Copy the text in it and paste it here.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

If you save the following group

-Notepad
-Windows Explorer

Close then open, does it open those grouped?

If you save any of those locally on the PC, not to OneDrive as they are now, do they then open grouped?

Is OneDrive accessible when you are trying to open these?

Wonderful news.

Microsoft no longer sell Office in the form you have (An actual store download vs website download) so we had to modify groupy based on a hunch on what the issue is so I am very pleased it turned out to be right.
