Very annoying, cannot save group

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more about your system.

1) Windows version, please use Winver.exe for full Windows version numbers.

2) Groupy version.

3) What error pop up when you tried to save the group?

Hi Basj,

It says "version 2004 (OS internal version 19041.388).
groupy v1.32 

When I try to save the group, a dialog appeared, then I put the cursor into the textbox and began to type, nothing input at all, looked like my key board was broken, but my keyboard actually worked fine for other application such as MS WORD.

BTW,  my Windows 10 is Chinese version.

Please try purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here: https://forums.stardock.com/488142/groupy-support-faq#reinstalling Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account. Reboot after the purged. Reinstall, and Reboot again after the installation. Retest it. Report back here.

The issue is still there, it seems the newest version is 1.32. so nothing changed.

Do you have active ObjectDesktop in your account. If you do please try Groupy v1.38 Beta and report back.

I don't really think it issue on your Windows 10 Chinese version, if that is the issue, we would have a lot more people reporting it here.

This was reported by another user on the Steam forums and this is what they discovered.

"The problem seems to lie in Microsoft's new Chinese input method, and there are two ways to solve it.
1. change back to the old input method in the setting.
2. change the default input mode to English"

Basically the new input method for Chinese is not compatible with typing in that edit box for some reason.  This is presumed to be a bug in the new Chinese Input methods.
