Edgerunner/Stardock update

Hi,

I purchased Multiplicity Pro a while back when it was EdgeRunner. Now I see what looks like Stardock took it back and is maintaining it but when you look on Stardock website or in Object Desktop which I have a subscription to it shows that it only support 2 PCs were as the EdgeRunner the Pro version I purchased is 9 PCs with KVM so my question since I am confused when Object Desktop is telling me that there is an update what happens when I install the update? Will I still have the Pro version up to 9 PCs or will it revert to 2 PCs?

Thanks

It will not change the KVM Pro options, no.

But what version do you have where it is asking you to update from?

Is Object Desktop Manager (ODM) asking you to update or something else (screenshot)?

Do you have 'show betas' checked in ODM?

Yes ODM is asking and Yes I have Show beta download checked. I just wanted to make sure if I install it I still keep the Pro version. In the past I used to download directly from EdgeRunner.

I have been having problems with v3.44 Build 00090 where it disconnects from one of the computer, I would then stop the service and restart then it would reconnect and then sometime later disconnect, it's random so I am hoping with the update it may solve that problem.

Thanks

So I went ahead and installed the beta update and now as I mentioned I was concerned that the ODM would change my license from 9 to 2 pc, all my other pc got disconnected. It's no longer a PRO version. Why did the ODM update change my license and how can I correct this?

Do you have an ObjectDesktop subscription too?

It sounds like it may have reactivated using that instead.

If you go to the about page in Multiplicity you can deactivate and then reactivate it using your pro key.

Ok I will try that.
