Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, can't really help, what you mean by "dublicate a tab"?

Like Chrome, right click on a tab and click on duplicate, it opens the same tab again. It seems this simple feature does not exist on Groupy or I didn't find it.

What application are you wishing to duplicate?
What seems simple in a webbrowser which knows the content of a tab, isn't the same in other apps.
You are right, I mean windows explorer:

For example duplicate the existing opened tab.
If Windows Explorer, and you click the "+" button, that will open another tab on the same location as the active tab.
