Issue finding Windows 10 applications when using the search bar on Windows 7 themed Start Menu

Searching update, or sound mixer options use to open the Windows feature, now when i search "update" for example it gives me this: AAA_SystemSettings_MusUpdate_UpdateHistoryLink   and a few other variations but tells me "...element not found".

Yours has the same problem, so maybe is Start10 not updated with the new Windows update? I'm running Win10x2004, same as you.  before this update you could actually search "update" and "mixer" and it'd pull up the Windows 10 applications/features now it jsut shows those weird AAA_ files

here is pic of what should come up after typing in mixer and pressing enter. Windows recently changed this to where in the second pic you have to click the advanced options (bottom middle). Also everytime i do open Windows Update (thru Win10 start menu not Stardocks Win7) it says update in progress with no update there, could that be an issue?

The newest 1.94 ,  it has to do something with windows update, because my buddy hasn't updated his windows and gets the updater and sound mixer option when he searches his Start7

Thanks for the report.

We have been able to reproduce this with version 2004 of Windows and are looking into a fix as the OS appears to have developed a new 'quirk'

I am pleased to say we have resolved this for an upcoming build 1.95.

We will update this thread when this is released, but I will be pushing for it to be released as soon as we can.

End of Gauzey's quote

That wont fix the bug for you, its an OS related issue with the 2004 build of windows 10. You would need to wait for the 1.95 release of Start10. Also, you should be backing up downloads for your applications in case you do need to roll back. If you have not backed up the downloads, you wont be able to grab an older version.
