Question regarding CursorFX

Hi, sorry I am not so tech savvy,

 

So I bought a subscription for Object Desktop and it has CursorFX in it. I wanted to know if thats the newest edition, whether it is the plus version or the free one.

And finally, can anyone post me a simple tutorial of how to add new cursors? I had the premium 2.6.XX version of CursorFX and all I did then was double click the downloaded cursor. No idea on this version..

CursorFX until recently was a standalone product.  The version now included in the Object Desktop subscription is the current one.  I believe the double-click to install method still works.  You can also download .cursorFX files from the Wincustomize library to Users/public/public documents/stardock/cursorfx/themes.  They will then be available to choose from within the CursorFX configuration dialog.  Enjoy!

There is no plus version going forward, I believe.

Isn't it the equivalent of the 'plus' version, RND?  Just called CursorFX 4 now?  I still have CursorXP Plus & CursorFX Plus available in my downloads but aren't they 'replaced' by 4?

Yes, Daiwa. So there is no plus version anymore. It's just CursorFX with all the functionality of the plus.

 

Just like there is no more SkinStudio Pro.  It's just SkinStudio 10.
