Activation Key for 4

Not the same as 2.16

I was prompted there has been a new update for CursorFX, I download it and finished the installation; However, the old key (2.16) could not work anymore. What happen? Please explain and help!

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. You will need to purchase it. CursorFX v4 is an upgrade not an update. So the key for v2 will not work on v4.

Just one more word, is it a promotional discount for the previous licensed user (2.16 how many years no update at all)?

There is no promotional discount offer at this moment. CursorFX v2.16 still work without much issue for Windows 7,8 and some of older Windows 10 version. We strongly encourage user to upgrade to CursorFX v4 for better compatibility on newer Windows 10 version.
